Installation view of the solo exhibition of SOMA Drawing Center's Artist Exhibition

Installation at SOMA Museum of Art, Seoul

Each piece in the exhibition stands as an individual entity, yet they form a subtle network of relationships through their arrangement. The transparent surface of glass, the ivory textures, the fragmentary objects, and the layered overlaps connect through an invisible passage shaped by the artist’s own visual vocabulary. Like an unseen wall separating stage and audience, this passage allows the works to access a deeper internal structure while maintaining a certain distance from the viewer, moving beyond superficial perception. This connection is mediated through the artist’s “window,” which links the internal structure of each work with its various formative elements. Through this window, the viewer encounters not only each individual piece but also the relational tensions, the rhythm of the arrangements, and the flow of formative energies that bind the works together.
