Arrangement within Arrangements clearly demonstrates this formative approach. In this work, glass panes of various sizes and shapes are layered so that transparency, overlapping planes, and the interplay of light and shadow generate a multilayered spatial arrangement. Each glass panel exists as an independent formative unit, but they illuminate one another’s structures through their transparent materiality and appear overlapped, creating a new perspective of arrangement. This shows a relational arrangement that changes at every moment depending on the viewer’s position and movement, going beyond any combination of physical structures. The shifting light and the shadows cast by the overlapping glass naturally merge with the exhibition space itself. Just as light passing through a negative film produces an image and completes a photograph, the work is not fully resolved at the moment of its fabrication but comes into being when light and shadow enter the space.
